LIFELINE INC: ENERGY PROGRAMS: HEAP APPLICATIONS | LIFELINE INC.

Helps eligible low-income Ohioans meet the high costs of home heating. In most cases, the benefit will be a credit applied once per heating season to the customer's energy bill by the utility company (or fuel vendor). The amount of the one-time HEAP CREDIT will depend on federal funding levels, number of people in the household, total household income and the primary fuel used to heat the home.

Total household income must be at or below 175% of the federal poverty guidelines. Both homeowners and renters are eligiible.
