Operates the Lorain County Jail. Responsible for the service of legal documents including summons and subpoenas. Handles evictions, repossessions, and seizure/sale of property as ordered by the court. Maintains the registry for all sex offenders residing in the county and handles neighborhood predator notifications. Provides law enforcement services to 18 townships and approximately 60,000 residents throughout Lorain County.
