Parents of children enrolled in the Cleveland Metropolitan School District, which includes Cleveland, Bratenahal, Linndale, Newburgh Heights, and parts of Brook Park and Garfield Heights.
Offered in multi-session classes twice a year. Scheduling times and locations vary.

Pre-registration is required. Call for schedule of offerings or to register for upcoming sessions M-F: 8:00am-4:45pm. May also leave a message that will be returned. May download application form from web site and fax or mail it in to register.

Description

Provides a series of classes designed to help parents work with their children of any age who are enrolled in the school district to improve academic performance and to improve community quality of life. Topics may include child development, preparation for standardized testing, helping effectively with homework, preparing for college, basic child development, healthy eating and cooking and more. Topics change each session. Activities for children are provided as well as dinner when classes are offered in the evenings.
