Application process

Agency is not taking applications and there is currently a waiting list for those who have already applied. In late 2023, agency held a lottery to get on a waiting list. Those who were selected to be on the waiting list, were sent an email and a letter to inform them.

Fee

Tenants pay 30% of their income for rent/utilities.

Eligibility

Household must meet income limit: less than 80% of area median household income (EXAMPLES: Household of one: $50,650; two: $57,850; three: $65,100; four: $72,300, etc.). To qualify for the program, the household must: Have a member of the household who is between ages 18 and 61. Have at least one adult in the household who has a documented disability. Any one of the requirements below qualify an individual as eligible: 1. Receiving Supplemental Security Income (SSI) as a result of their disability. Must be unable to work for 12 months or more, due to a medically documented physical or mental condition. 2. Have a physical, cognitive, or emotional condition that will continue long term or indefinitely; substantially interferes with their ability to live on their own; and would, with better housing conditions, improve their ability to live independently. 3. Have a severe and chronic disability that: is associated with one or several mental or physical conditions; will likely last a lifetime; causes significant limitations in three or more areas related to self-care, communication, learning, ability to move freely, independent living, and economic self-sufficiency; and as a result, requires that they receive lifelong, individualized support. 350 individuals will be selected in the lottery for the waiting list.

Purchases, renovates and leases agency-owned housing units. Owns and manages 11 Permanent Supportive Housing projects. Oversees rapid rehousing program.
