Eligibility

Must have a financial need for assistance, be medically cleared to travel, be ambulatory and able to get in and out of plane with little or no assistance, not require medical care en route and not have a communicable disease. If oxygen is required, it must be provided by the patient and be in a Department of Transportation pressure test approved bottle.

Description

Mercy Medical Angels provides free transportation to medical care, ensuring that no one in need is denied medical care because they don't have transportation. Ground transportation is provided with gas cards, bus, and train tickets. Air transportation is flown by volunteer pilots or commercial airlines. Mercy Medical Angels has programs for Children, Terminally Ill Patients, Seniors, Veterans and more.
