Eligibility
Eligibility is for individuals needing rent assistance only, and have a qualifying temporary emergency. Applicants must be employed, or have been employed within the past 12 months; employed either (full-time, part-time, or temporary) or became unemployed due to the COVID-19. COMPASS is no longer assisting with utilities, ONLY rent, and will only assist with up to $1,000 for rent (evictions only, no deposits or first month's rent). Clients must pay the balance down to $1,000 before receiving assistance.
