Applications may be printed from the website or picked up from the Auditor's office. Homeowners may also check to see if they are already receiving the reduction using the Auditor's online property search.

Eligibility

Open to Clinton County homeowners who occupy the home they own as their primary place of residence.

The following property types are not eligible:

  • rental homes or apartments
  • homes occupied by someone other than the owner
  • homes owned by corporations, partnerships, associations or groups
  • units within a building primarily for retail, commercial or other non-residential purposes,
  • manufactured or mobile homes taxed under the depreciation method
  • excess acreage over one acre
