Open to active Duke Energy customers with a household income at or below 200% of the Federal Poverty Guidelines.
- Natural gas only customers are eligible to receive a credit to their account for the months of January-April.
- Customers receiving both gas and electric, and those receiving electric service only are eligible to receive a credit to their account for the months of January-April, and July-September.
Utility bill (Account number and name on account for main heating fuel sources and electric bill, most current heating bill OR statement from landlord if heating expenses are included in rent OR statement from utility company if applicant participates in a Pre-Pay Electric Program),Proof of income (Proof of all household income from the previous month),Social security card (Proof of Social Security Number for each member of the household)
