Head Start | Columbus Urban League

Promotes school readiness in children ages 3-5 through comprehensive early education, intervention, health, nutrition, and social services to enrolled children and their families. Programs highlight science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM); literacy; and social/emotional development curriculum. Collaborates with community partners to provide dance, physical fitness, and other health and wellness services. Head Start Academy families also receive services and coordinated support from CUL programs including career services, housing, education, and male involvement. Prepares children for a successful learning experienceand promote healthy successful families.
