Inspects for safety and health at schools and day cares for youth kindergarten age through grade 12 in the service area. Provides input to school officials on issues of health and safety.

Cuyahoga County District Board Of Health

Conducts a wide range of health-related education, regulation, and support services within its jurisdiction. Includes Environmental Health Division (food protection, risk assessments, septic system and well safety, solid waste disposal), Prevention and Wellness Division(nutrition services, wellness programs, dental care referrals), immunizations, lead poisoning prevention and detection, communicable disease prevention and control, child care education, school health, etc.), and Epidemiology/Surveillance Division. Acts as liaison with Early Start and Bureau for Children with Medical Handicaps.
