Lead Abatement (LEAD SAFE OHIO) | Habitat For Humanity Greater Cincinnati

Performs home repairs to address common places where lead paint could chip or erode. Eligible repairs are based on the condition and age of a home, but may include new windows and doors, siding, interior and exterior painting, and repairs to fascia and soffits.

Application process

Contact by phone or email to request an application. All applications received are reviewed on a first-come, first-served basis. Approved applicants will be notified by phone and/or letter of their qualification.

Eligibility

Open to individuals who own a single-family or condominium home in Clermont County that was built before 1978 and:

  • is owner-occupied (not rented)
  • is in livable condition, or will be upon repair
  • is current on all property taxes and mortgage payments
  • is covered by homeowner's insurance

Note: Homeowners with a household income at or below 80% of Area Median Income (AMI) will be prioritized. Households above 80% AMI may be eligible if they meet other eligibility requirements.
