Provides information and guidance for people who are unable to make their mortgage payments and are at risk of losing their homes. Negotiates with lenders to restructure loans for borrowers to reduce interest rates and determine sustainable payments. Refinances loans on a case-by-case basis.

Visit the website for more information or to start the application. Must complete the web-file consisting of inputting personal and financial information. Must identify documents necessary for submission to the caller's servicer/lender. Then schedule a counseling appointment.

Membership fees not required to participate in this program. Requests participation in actions to support the agency.

Eligibility

- Must be a homeowner residing in Ohio. - Must not own any other property. - Must reside in the home. - If owner occupied, multi-family homes with rental units allowed.
