Hours
  • Generally open last three (3) Fridays: 1:30pm to 3:00pm, while supplies last.
  • Closed the day after Thanksgiving.
  • If weather is inclement or if there are thunderstorms forecasted, the distribution may be cancelled. If the temperature is below 25 degrees Fahrenheit, distribution will be cancelled.
  • Closed when Akron Public Schools are closed due to inclement weather.
  • If the Community Center is closed for any reason, the pantry is closed.
  • Do not call agency or the community center. For closure information due to inclement weather, sign up for texts.

Application process
  • Line up down Jefferson and do not block driveways. Distribution takes place near ball field at the corner of South Hawkins and Jefferson.
  • Drive-thru for service. Stay in your vehicle. Food will be given on a first come, first served basis while supplies last.
  • Please have your trunk empty and open. NOTE: Volunteers will not place food inside vehicles.
  • Do not park on the parking lot. There will be a police officer or volunteer to direct you on where to park.
  • Individuals walking up for service will be served 15 minutes prior to start time or after all cars are served.
  • No smoking when being served.
  • Do not call agency or the community center. For closure information due to inclement weather, sign up for texts or check agency Facebook page for updates.
