Seeks to obtain both perishable and nonperishable items in quantities that can be distributed to area food pantries, soup kitchens, shelters, and other feeding programs for those in need. Receives and distributes other needed household products such as diapers, personal hygiene items, detergents and cleaning supplies that cannot be purchased with food stamps. Accepts food donations from restaurants, grocery stores, farmers, retailers, food manufacturers, food distributors and the general public. Accepts the following items: - Fresh produce. - Refrigerated items. - Frozen foods including meats. - Bakery items. - Personal care products. - Bulk packaged products. - Dry canned goods.
