The City Engineer is responsible for all major capital improvements at the City including roads, bridges, sanitary sewers, water lines, storm drains and culverts, traffic control projects, and improvement to the water treatment and wastewater treatment plants. The City Engineer is responsible for maintaining and update the map of the City including annexations and current zoning information. Information on flood plains, location of the main water lines, sanitary sewers (including a limited number of tap records), storm water conveyances, vacated alleys, and public right-of-ways are also available at the office of the City Engineer.
