Great Lakes Science Center
Operates as a museum that stimulates interest and increases understanding of the sciences, with emphasis on the Great Lakes Region. Offers over 400 interactive exhibits, demonstrations and educational programs to help people of all ages achieve and maintain greater science literacy. Operates the Cleveland Clinic Omnimax Theater, a six-story-high, domed theater that shows films shot in the world's largest film format. Offers tours of the William G. Mather, a retired cargo ore boat that worked on the Great Lakes. Home to the NASA Glenn Visitor Center, which includes 50 exhibits and artifacts, including shuttle and rocket models and other items.
