Service And Support Administration | Geauga County Board Of Developmental Disabilities
Assists consumers in cases where an immediate change in residential setting is needed, where it is necessary to deal with law enforcement, or where there is alleged abuse or neglect of the consumer. Provides information and referral for all services. Monitors residential and day programs, does complaint resolution, and acts for advocacy and protection of client rights. This office also monitors Board compliance with legal regulations, oversees its accreditation, and evaluates its services in terms of goals and outcomes.

Phone for information or to request service anytime. The number of an emergency pager will be made available those who call after hours. In cases of emergency, service will begin at once; otherwise, an eligibility case manager will be appointed to collect documentation and set up testing.

Serves children and adults with developmental disabilities such as autism, cerebral palsy, spina bifida, and traumatic brain injuries. Offers coordinated activities and programs including children's services (focusing on early intervention and community inclusion). Assist in finding comprehensive adult services (including vocational training, community employment, workshop opportunities and senior programming). Residential services offer intensive, on-site housing as well as community supported-living homes.
