Call for information. Pregnant individuals and families with minor children who are employed or participating in an Ohio Works First work activity may apply. Minor children must live in household or non-custodial parent must be current on CSEA with verification. Applicants for PRC assistance must meet an income guideline that does not exceed 200% of the Federal Poverty Guideline and must not have received PRC assistance within the past 12 months.
PRC interviews will be conducted via phone assessments.

Interpreters through the Language Line are available.

Applications may be requested in-person or downloaded via the agency website at www.rcjfs.net. Completed applications may be dropped off via the dropbox, e-mailed to [email protected] or faxed to 419-774-5380. Applicants will be contacted by phone to complete an eligibility interview. During the eligibility phone contact, additional verification documents may be requested.

Administers Ohio Works First (OWF), SNAP Food Assistance, Medicaid, Temporary Assistance to Needy Families, Prevention Retention and Contingency (PRC) Assistance, OWF and SNAP Employment and Training Programs, Child Care Assistance, Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) Adult and Dislocated Worker program, Comprehensive Case Management Employment Program (CCMEP), and OhioMeansJobs Richland County Employment & Training Center. Provides Social Services programs: Adult Protective Services, Healthchek/Pregnancy Related Services, and Non-Emergency Transportation services.
