Head Start | Great Lakes Community Action Partnership Headquarters
Provides care and preschool services for children ages 3-5. Children enrolled in the program attend classes Mon through Thu during the school year. Centers provide a daily meal and snack along with hands-on activities. Children are provided with medical, mental health, nutrition and dental services. Families also receive at least two home visits and two parent-teacher conferences.

Eligibility
Children age 3-5. Income guidelines apply. Head Start is available for families at or below 100% federal poverty guidelines, or families receiving SNAP benefits. Program staff consider each family’s situation and assist them in finding the best option for their family’s circumstances. Children in foster care or identified as homeless are also eligible, regardless of income. Children with disabilities are welcome and accommodated at all centers. Parents and caregivers are encouraged to call for details.
