  • Serves Summit County residents and businesses.
  • Limit of two (2) televisions and two (2) monitors per vehicle.
  • Limit of 10 tires per vehicle. Must register and pay online to bring tires.

Proof of Summit County residency (Photo ID or utility bill).

Monday April 20th - Friday April 24th, 2026 (Closed Thursday): 3:00pm to 6:00pm. Monday May 11th - Friday May 15th, 2026 (Closed Thursday): 3:00pm to 6:00pm.

Application process
  • For all items except tires, drive-up for service.
  • Must be registered to recycle tires. Registration is first come, first serve basis.
  • Visit the website at www.summitreworks.com/RecyclingDays for more information and the link to the tire registration form.
Fees
No fee, except for tires. $4 per tire, which must be paid when registering online.
Service area
Summit County, Ohio
Hosting a "Hard-to-recycle materials" event. Only the following materials will be accepted:
  • Televisions (limit two (2) per vehicle).
  • Monitors (limit two (2) per vehicle).
  • Tires up to 22.5 inches in diameter (registration must be completed to recycle tires, limit 10 per vehicle).
  • Glass bottles and jars.
  • Styrofoam. Must be clean and dry with tape/stickers removed.
  • Cooking oil. No containers larger than 5 gallons. Limit 15 gallons per vehicle.
  • String lights and cords. No LED strips.
  • Laptops/Tablets.
  • Cell Phones.
  • VCR/DVD players.
  • Campaign signs.
  • No other recyclables are being accepted that are not listed above.

Operates a household hazardous waste recycling center open annually from June to September.
