Advocates compliance to the Fair Housing Act's requirement to "affirmatively further fair housing" by: - Identifying and eliminating housing discrimination with the community. - Promote fair housing choice for all persons. - Promoting opportunities for inclusive patterns of housing occupancy regardless of race, color, religion, sex, familial status, disability and national origin. - Promoting housing that is structurally accessible to, and usable by all persons, particularly people with disabilities. - Foster compliance with the nondiscrimination provisions of the Fair Housing Act.

Provides programs that aid in the alleviation of housing related issues such as denial of equal housing opportunities, non-compliance of housing providers or consumers with the Ohio Tenant/Landlord law, unethical lending practices, and lack of awareness of the general public as to their rights and obligations. Offers programs that address a discrimination complaint service, tenant/landlord services, housing counseling, and education/outreach.
