Conducts a coordinated intake assessment to help homeless individuals and families find or maintain a safe place to stay. If assessment results indicate that families/individuals are eligible, they will place those who have been assessed in an available shelter. Those being referred to a shelter MUST be willing to go to a homeless shelter. The goal is to help the client establish both a short- and long-term housing plan. Due to shelter space limitations and client circumstances, there is no guarantee of immediate placement.
