GET CONNECTED | MENTAL HEALTH AMERICA OF FRANKLIN COUNTY

The Get Connected Program provides system navigation and advocacy for individuals with mental health and / or addiction issues and their family members who reside in Franklin County. Services are primarily delivered by phone, e-mail, or in some cases face-to-face meetings (virtual and in-person). Program staff utilizes empathy, brief assessment skills, and motivational interviewing to assess callers’ individual needs in order to provide expert information and timely referral to appropriate community agencies and providers. For callers with more complex issues, program staff works with both caller and community provider involved to negotiate a mutual resolution.
