Operates crisis stabilization units (multiple beds available at each location). Provides crisis support, supervision, and individualized clinical treatment with multiple beds available at each location. The service is designed as an alternative to hospitalization, or as a step-down from hospitalization, for individuals who are experiencing serious emotional problems and shorten a person's length of stay in the hospital by providing a transition from inpatient to community treatment. Offers medication intervention, coordination of internal/external services, and linkage with other treatment and resources.

Eligibility
Serves adults age 18 and over who are experiencing a severe mental health crisis. Those with substance abuse issues must be drug-free before entering this program (agency will assess and refer to treatment programs).
