SAFEHAVEN INC

SafeHaven, Inc., a consumer-operated center, provides mental health services to adults (18 and older, exceptions for 17 yr. olds in cases of individuals in-between systems) with mental illness/mental health needs in Miami, Darke, and Shelby Counties, with facilities in Piqua, Greenville, and Sidney. SafeHaven provides these services through the mission statement to provide educational, social and vocational service opportunities in a safe environment towards mental health recovery. Membership is free, and includes free transportation, free lunch, and a host of services during a structured day of voluntary and encouraged groups, classes, and activities. Groups and activities are focused upon providing recovery-focused principles.Also offered is a warm line, the SafeHaven HOPE-Line, representative payeeship services, many social opportunities, and vocational assistance.
