Medication Assisted Maintenance Treatment For Substance Use Disorders | Medina County Health Department
Provides monthly injections of Vivitrol (a.k.a. Naltrexone) in conjunction with ongoing substance use disorder counseling. If a client is not currently receiving substance use disorder counseling, they will be referred to an applicable program. The program lasts 12-18 months.

Application process
Call the office to schedule a physical exam. Upon completion of the physical exam the client will be scheduled for counseling and Vivitrol injections.
Fee
Fixed fee for medication. Medicaid and some private insurance are accepted. Clients who do not have health insurance may apply for a patient assistance program in order to purchase the medication.
Eligibility
Serves residents of Medina County. - Clients of the program must attend substance abuse counseling in order to receive Vivitrol.
