Psychiatric Emergency Rooms | Ohiohealth Hospitals

Behavioral Health Emergency Services are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week through the emergency departments of our hospitals. They include mental health and addiction evaluations, crisis intervention, resource identification and referral. An emergency room physician provides a medical examination first to rule out any medical concerns. He or she then refers you or your loved ones to the psychiatric social worker for an assessment. Once needs are assessed, the best, most appropriate services are recommended.
