Supported Living Services For Adults With Disabilities | Brown County Board Of Developmental Disabilities
Provides assistance coordinating a variety of services and supports so that an individual with a developmental disability is able to live independently in the community. A Service and Support Administrator (SSA) may help an individual hire and supervise an attendant, develop a budget and pay bills on time, learn to shop and cook, schedule and attend medical appointments, and accomplish other similar activities of daily living.

Application process
Call to schedule an assessment. Each adult applying for any service is administered the Ohio Eligibility Determination Instrument (OEDI) and children are administered the Children's Ohio Eligibility Determination Instrument (COEDI).
Fee
When possible, services are funded using federal Medicaid Waivers.
Eligibility
A resident of Brown County may qualify for services if they have a developmental disability that is: -Not solely caused by mental illness -Manifested prior to age 22 -Likely to continue indefinitely
