Application process

Submit online inquiry form or contact by phone to express interest in becoming a foster parent/family. Potential foster parents/families must also attend an orientation meeting, submit an application, fulfill training requirements, and participate in a home study.

Eligibility

Open to Kentucky residents age 21 and older who:

  • Own or rent a home that provides a safe physical environment
  • Have no serious criminal convictions
  • Are in good physical and mental health
  • Have been married for at least two years (if married)
