Application process

<p>Submit <a href="https://www.dcchcenter.org/how-we-help/therapeutic-foster-care/therapeutic-foster-care-inquiry/" target="_blank" rel="noopener" class="underline text-blue-700">online inquiry form</a> or contact by phone to express interest in becoming a foster parent/family. Potential foster parents/families must also attend an orientation meeting, submit an application, fulfill training requirements, and participate in a home study.</p>

Eligibility

Open to Kentucky residents age 21 and older who: <ul> <li>Own or rent a home that provides a safe physical environment</li> <li>Have no serious criminal convictions</li> <li>Are in good physical and mental health</li> <li>Have been married for at least two years (if married)</li> </ul>
