Head Start | Northern Kentucky Community Action Commission

Offers a comprehensive early childhood education program for children in economically disadvantaged families. The program includes kindergarten readiness learning experiences, speech, language, and hearing screenings, vision and dental checks, snacks and meals, and parent involvement opportunities. Children may attend a Head Start Center, or participate in a home-based option and receive weekly home visits.

Eligibility

Open to children ages 3-5 whose family household income is up to or less than 100% of the federal poverty guidelines. Children experiencing homelessness, children in foster care, and families who receive SNAP are always eligible to enroll.
