Community Employment Services | Muskingum County Board Of Developmental Disabilities

Beginning in 1988, Muskingum Starlight Industries (MSI) introduced our community employment program. This program provides the opportunity for our employees to become a contributing member of your workforce, while allowing them to build self-esteem and confidence in their own ability. Services MSI provides that makes this program successful are listed below:

• Job Coaching: A job coach works with your new employee while they are leaning skills necessary to maintain their job. The Job Coach also assists your new employee in developing skills necessary to become independent in his/her job.
• Support/Services: Support Services assist your new employee with the supports he/she may need in order to be successful in their new position. Since each new employee’s needs are different, support services are tailored to meet each individual’s specific needs.
