Pays a driver for up to 30 non-emergency one-way trips or 15 round trips per year for a distance up to 30 miles for patients who are traveling to medical appointments, the local Women, Infants and Children (WIC) office, or to the County Department of Job and Family Services.

Application process

Phone or go online to schedule a ride one week in advance. May also call and leave a message after hours that will be returned in one day. Must reserve the trip at least 48 hours (two business days) in advance. Can reserve up to 30 days ahead of need. During the COVID pandemic, Medicaid enrollees were not required to re verify to make sure they were still eligible for Medicaid benefits. The hold on these re verifications has ended and re verification reminder notices will be rolled out throughout the year. Enrollees should look out for re verification packets in the mail and report any address changes to their JFS office.
