Eligibility

Funds are available to households that cannot secure basic household items and clothing. Hardship, emergency situations and unforeseen circumstances are considered when a determination is made. Assistance is limited to once every 12 months per household.

Required documents

Photo ID for adults in the household, ID for children in the household (birth certificate, social security card or Medicaid card) and lease agreement.

Apply online at: https://goodwillakron.org/mission-services/programs . Referral from a local agency is accepted, but not required. Applications can also be made in person at thrift stores.
