Holds hearings to determine the market value of property when property owners appeal the value placed on the assessment rolls for their property. Taxpayers who feel their property values are too high have the opportunity to file a complaint and appeal to the Board of Revision for property value reduction. The board is composed of the Carroll County Auditor, the Carroll County Treasurer, and the Chairperson of the Board of Carroll County Commissioners or their representatives.
