Eligibility

Open to residents of Boone, Campbell, Grant, and Kenton Counties who have a household income between 125%-200% of the Federal Poverty Level.

Fees

There is no charge for the time spent on a case. If there are court costs, witness fees, or other fees Legal Aid will incur to handle a case, Legal Aid asks that clients pay them to the best of their ability.

Description

Provides legal advice and representation in the divorce process when a child or other family member's safety is jeopardized. Offers help in ensuring fair distribution of marital property and debt. Also provides assisted self-help divorces where there are no children, property, or debts.
