  • US Citizens or non-citizens who are lawfully present in the US
  • Not currently incarcerated

Application process

Enroll in a qualified health plan during the yearly Open Enrollment period or during a Special Enrollment period triggered by a qualifying event, such as job loss, out of state move, divorce, marriage, etc. An application is required and may be submitted online, by phone, in person, or by mailing, faxing, or hand-delivering a completed application to the DCBS office in your county of residence.

Fees

Varies by plan. Individuals may be eligible for a tax credit or cost sharing reduction to lower the cost of premiums and out of pocket expenses.
