- Must be a Medina County resident. - Must be 60 years or older. - Transportation is limited to clients who live in their own home/apartment or at an independent living complex. Clients who live in a nursing home or assisted living are not eligible for this service. NOTE: Clients who use wheelchairs may use this service. Must be able to transfer themselves into the vehicle and the wheelchair must collapse so that it can fit in the trunk.

- Call the office Monday to Friday from 8:30am to 4:30pm for more information or to schedule an in-home assessment. - Following assessment, those who qualify will have an "orange card" provided to them along with information for Medina County Public Transit.

Offers subsidized rides for all of Medina County Transit's riders 60 years and older. Example of rides include medical appointments, grocery shopping (once a week), nutrition sites, and recreation centers (once a week). Wheel-chair lift vehicles are available.

Medina County Senior And Adult Services

Provides in-home and community based services, including home-delivered (Meals-On-Wheels) and congregate meals, and a variety of cultural, recreational and educational programs, to Medina County residents over the age of 60. Functions as an Aging and Disability Resources Center (ADRC), offering information and assistance, options counseling and benefits screening for older adults and adults with disabilities.
