Geauga County Medical Reserve Corps | Geauga County General Health District

Recruits and trains volunteers for surge capacity during a public health emergency. Provides specialized services to the community during and after natural disasters, epidemics, accidents (fires, chemical spills, broken water or sewer structures), and potential bio-terror attacks. Participates in disaster preparedness exercises and simulated emergencies to evaluate and better coordinate local emergency response.

Eligibility

Serves Geauga County. Volunteers must be adults age 18 and older (targets medical professionals, but this is not a requirement). All volunteers must consent to a background check.
