The Community Services Unit is involved in several community-oriented programs designed to increase the interaction, awareness, safety, and involvement of the entire community; investigates citizen complaints, neighborhood disputes, is a liaison between neighborhood, civic, and school groups and the Police division; coordinates a neighborhood block watch program.
