Volunteer Training For Disaster Assistance | American Red Cross - Central Ohio Chapter

Provides training for people who want to volunteer to assist disaster victims. Topics covered include introduction to disaster, standard first aid, introduction to mass care, and shelter operations. Once training is complete, participants become part of the Disaster Action Team (DAT) which is generally mobilized for local and domestic disasters, but not generally for international disasters.
