Eligibility
Households may be eligible for assistance from HEAP if the household income is at or below 175% of the federal poverty guidelines.
Required documents
Please bring the following documents to your appointment:
- Photo ID for all household members 18 and older
- Proof of income for the previous 30 days for all adult household members 18 and older
- Proof of citizenship for all members of the household (i.e. birth certificate, social security card, voter registration, etc. Please note, if you bring birth certificates, you must provide at least the Social Security number to ensure we can enter you into OCEAN per grant requirements)
- Copies of utility bills (i.e. bulk fuel, natural gas, electric.)
