Volunteer Opportunities - Mentoring Children | Big Brothers Big Sisters Of West Central Ohio - Hardin County
Recruits and trains adult volunteers to serve as role models, friends, and mentors for youth who may benefit from a supportive relationship. The volunteers ("Bigs") have contact with the youth ("Littles") twice a month for a period of at least one year. The volunteer and child participate in social and recreational activities such as watching movies, talking on the phone, bicycling, or just running errands. Professional caseworkers are available to provide advice and support.

Eligibility
Big Brothers/Big Sisters must be 18 years of age or older who live in Hardin, counties. A police background check (federal, county, and city), sex offender check, driver record check, and reference check will be completed.
