Application process

- Gather the names, dates of birth, Social Security numbers, and incomes for each member of the household. - Complete an online preliminary application - Once applicants have submitted the preliminary application online, they will be provided with a confirmation number as proof of the date and time of their application and are put on the waiting list. - Application status may be checked on the website. - Once an applicant's name nears the top of the wait list, they will receive a letter in the mail requesting their attendance at an Eligibility Determination Interview. This letter will include a list of information that will be required to provide, as well as appointment date and time. All adult household members may be required to attend this appointment. - On the date of the interview, Medina Metropolitan Housing Authority (MMHA) staff will ask the applicant to complete required forms and collect information that will allow MMHA to determine applicant's eligibility for housing. - Generally within a month of the interview, applicants will receive a letter in the mail that details MMHA’s decision regarding their eligibility.
