April through December: 9am to 5pm Monday through Saturday and 12noon to 5pm Sunday. January, February and March: 9am to 5pm Tuesday, Thursday through Saturday, and 12noon to 5 pm Sunday.. Closed New Year's Day, Easter, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day.

Application process

Potential volunteers complete an application form and background authorization form. Upon acceptance, volunteers are contacted when tasks and activities that are suited to their interests occur.

Description

Provides a volunteer program at the Hayes Presidential site's museum, library, and special events. Volunteer Opportunities include performing clerical tasks, assembling mailings, assisting with special events and activities, assisting with event preparation and tear-down, and leading guided tours through the Museum to school groups.
