Eligibility

16 years and older for high school equivalency and college preparation; adults of all reading levels; and all levels of English speakers of other languages.

Required documents

Photo I.D. for all adults Social Security Cards for all in household proof of income: accepts 3 recent pay stubs for all working adults in household, proof of any other cash assistance proof of address: accepts recent utility bill, shelter letter, letter from person where staying.

Class times may vary. Intake hours: M, Tu, Th: 10:00am W: 4:00pm.

Application process

Walk-in during service hours or phone for more information M-F: 9:00am-5:00pm. Service is on a first-come, first-served basis. All documentation is required at intake. Future appointments will be scheduled at intake if indicated.

Description

Provides comprehensive career support training, including educational support and tutoring for appropriate credentialing; career exploration and guidance; resume writing and application coaching; connections to job training and onramp programs to Cleveland employers; interview skills and coaching; support for criminal conviction expungement; and job-search support for individuals ready to work. All education students can be referred to other May Dugan programming for social service, food assistance, and counseling.
