Houses birth records for the county filed after December 20, 1908 and death records filed after January 1, 1954. If a person was born in Ohio a birth record is available from the vital statistics. Any existing birth and death records from 1867 through December 19, 1908 are located at the Morgan County, Ohio Genealogy Probate Court. Only certified copies are available of birth and death records. There is a fee. Payment is due at time of request. There is a form to complete. Requests are fulfilled immediately. There is no waiting time.
