Residential Water Meter Replacement | City Of Toledo

Replacement of analog water meters with smart meters across residences and businesses. Customers will receive their first notice to schedule one month before work begins in their neighborhood.All City of Toledo water customers are required to provide access to their water meter for this mandatory water meter service. Workers may need to shut the curb valve off through a small hole in the yard if inside valve is unable to be shut off and be able to do the work with the water shut off to the home. Things to know about your appointment: Appointments will take 60 minutes. An adult (18 or older) must be home. Water will be shut off during installation. Clear path to the meter must be accessible. All pets must be secured.
