Provides professional development, technical assistance and coaching to support districts in developing their capacity to fully implement research-based processes and educational practices using a connected set of tools and resources. Key areas of support include school improvement/Ohio Improvement Process (OIP), special education, instructional strategies and frameworks, early learning and school readiness, and positive behavior interventions and supports. through collaboration within and across regions, State Support Teams access national, state, regional and local agencies and resources to support districts and families. State Support Team, Region 8 supports districts, community schools, and families in Summit, Medina and Portage counties.
