Provides services to low income Veterans and their families. Services include; case management, assistance obtaining VA benefits, housing counseling, landlord mediation and in some circumstances, financial assistance that may include; rental assistance, security deposits, utility payment assistance, moving costs, legal assistance, shallow subsidy, and emergency housing assistance.

SSVF receives referrals via fax, email, or phone call. Our Eligibility Specialist completes the initial screening and referrals to determine the next steps. Call for more information.

A member of a “Veteran family”: Either (a) a Veteran; or (b) a member of a family in which the head of household, or the spouse of the head of household, is a Veteran. 2. “Very low-income” Household: income does not exceed 50 percent of area median income. 3. The goal of the Supportive Services for Veteran Families is to improve housing stability for the very low-income Veteran families. Eligible households will receive case management, financial assistance, and community connections in order to obtain and/or maintain stable housing.
