Provides services to low income Veterans and their families. Services include; case management, assistance obtaining VA benefits, housing counseling, landlord mediation and in some circumstances, financial assistance that may include; rental assistance, security deposits, utility payment assistance, moving costs, legal assistance, shallow subsidy, and emergency housing assistance.

SSVF receives referrals via fax, email, or phone call. Our Eligibility Specialist completes the initial screening and referrals to determine the next steps. Call for more information.

1. A member of a “Veteran family”: Either (a) a Veteran; or (b) a member of a family in which the head of household, or the spouse of the head of household, is a Veteran. 2. “Very low-income” Household: income does not exceed 50 percent of area median income. 3. Is literally homeless or at risk of becoming literally homeless but for SSVF assistance
