Offers an independent 501(c)(3) not for profit corporation that administers the federally designated Protection and Advocacy system and Client Assistance Program for people with disabilities in the State of Ohio. Protects and guarantee the human, civil, and legal rights of Ohioans with disabilities. To receive DRO services, a person must be disabled. DRO does not routinely provide representation in criminal cases, those involving child custody, divorce, personal injury or malpractice suits, or other general legal issues not related to the person's disability.
